THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE

This privacy notice describes how Equip Capital AS (Equip Capital) collects and processes personal data through this website. Where we use the terms we, us, and our in this privacy notice, we are referring to Equip Capital.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PERSONAL DATA

Equip Capital is the data controller as defined in the Norwegian personal data regulations implementing the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and will process the personal data in accordance with these regulations.

THE DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE PERSONAL DATA

When you contact us on our contact us page on the website we will collect personal data, including the name and e-mail address you have submitted. We need this information to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis for this processing is article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, whereas the processing is necessary for the purpose of Equip Capital’s legitimate interests in responding to the enquiry.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

The personal data collected through our website may be accessed by our service providers and professional advisers. Equip Capital will only disclose personal data to third parties if such disclosure is in accordance with the Norwegian personal data regulations, and the disclosure is made for the purposes set out in this privacy notice. There may also be circumstances where Equip Capital is obliged by law to disclose personal data, including to law enforcement agencies and applicable regulators. In the event that a service provider or third party is located outside of EU/EEA, Equip Capital will ensure that sufficient safeguards are implemented in order to ensure that such disclosure is safe and in accordance with the Norwegian personal data regulations.

RETENTION OF YOUR DATA

Equip Capital will retain data as long as is necessary for the purposes set out above. In particular, Equip Capital will delete the personal data collected in relation to enquiries on our contact us page when retention is no longer necessary for the purpose of responding to the enquiry, unless we have another legal basis for continued storage.

Equip Capital is required to prevent unauthorised access to your personal data. We utilize reasonable and appropriate physical, technical, and administrative procedures and measures to safeguard the personal data we collect and process.

If an individual wishes to exercise any of these rights and Equip Capital has transferred that person’s data to a third party, Equip Capital will communicate that request to the relevant third party unless it would be impossible or involve disproportionate effort for Equip Capital to do so.
